Dusty is the scruffy Australian-accented drummer of Oscar's "alternative" Grouch band that appeared in a 2001 episode of Sesame Street. Angered that the other members won't let him start the band in playing music, he decides to quit. Elmo joins the group as the replacement drummer with help from Oscar, Grundgetta, Slam and Phooey Louie.
