Dr. No is an eye specialist who is visited by James Bond in a "Monsterpiece Theater" segment. Bond has been sent to the doctor for problems with reading. Dr. No tests his eyesight with a sign that says "NO" on it, but can't get James Bond to read it properly until he removes his glasses.
The character is a take-off on the title character in the 1962 film Dr. No, which inaugurated the James Bond movie series.
