Dr. Gottesman is Sprocket's veterinarian on Fraggle Rock. Mentioned as simply "the vet" in several episodes, the doctor converses with Doc in "Boober's Quiet Day." The sounds of his many patients' yowling and meowing reverberates over the phone.

His name is a reference to Al Gottesman, Jim Henson's attorney.
