The Muppet Christmas Carol | 1992 -1996 | Bunsen's look changes slightly but steadily over the years. His face goes from a wider-than-tall look in the early 1990s to considerably thinner over time. His costume and glasses are adjusted to match the contemporary setting for this appearance and his appearance in Muppet Treasure Island. |

Muppets Tonight | 1996-1999 | The doctor receives a white lab coat, replacing the light blue coat he had been wearing since his debut. His standard red tie is further replaced with a black tie. |

Muppets from Space | 1999-2008 | His wardrobe returns to his classic colors for Muppet Labs. His face has reached its thinnest design, and will remain this shape until 2008. |

Muppets.com | 2008-2009 | Bunsen's looks have changed tremendously. Even though the design is turning to a more classic, rounder head shape, his accentuated chin and bigger ears, as well as their lifted position, provide him with a more cartoony look.
