The Dr. Bunsen Honeydew Action Figure was released in the first series of Muppet Show action figures produced by Palisades Toys as part of the show's 25th anniversary marketing campaign. This figure was the first figural toy of Bunsen.
The fully articulated Robot Rabbit pack-in was based on the Steel Rabbit from episode 202 of The Muppet Show. The Muppet Labs book contains a shopping list and a game of Tic-Tac-Toe.
The figure featured articulation of the neck, ball-jointed shoulders, elbows (right: pin, left: swivel), wrists, waist, and hips.
Bunsen's partner, Beaker, was released with the Muppet Labs Playset.
The Bunsen figure is 5 inches tall.
