Dr. Beemer

Dr. Beemer is a pediatrician who gives Baby Fozzie his checkup in the Muppet Babies book Baby Fozzie Visits the Doctor. A jocular physician wearing Groucho Marx glasses, Dr. Beemer tells Fozzie a steady stream of jokes to dispell his fears. After innoculating Fozzie, Dr. Beemer removes his disguise, revealing his normal appearance. He demonstrates that all doctors are different, and some can be funny. He lets Fozzie take his Groucho glasses home as a prize.
