Dorothy Fields (1905–1974) was an Academy Award-winning American lyricist who collaborated with Jimmy McHugh, Jerome Kern, and Cy Coleman on Broadway and film musicals. She also wrote the book for several musicals, including Annie Get Your Gun. Her musical Redhead won a Tony Award for Best Musical in 1959.
