Doris Roberts

Doris Roberts (b. 1929) is an American character actress best known for playing mother Marie Barone on Everybody Loves Raymond. She appeared on Sesame Street, in a My Favorite Sesame Street Moments introduction to the television airing of The Street We Live On, and in the celebrity version of "Dance Myself to Sleep."
Roberts had previously co-starred with Pierce Brosnan on Remington Steele (as secretary Mildred Krebs) and was a frequent guest on Hal Linden's Barney Miller. Film credits include National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, My Giant, and Dickie Roberts: Former Child Star.
