Donald Sinden (b. 1932) is a British stage actor who has also ventured into film (The Beachcomber and Disney's The Island at the Top of the World) and television (starring in the sitcoms Two's Company and Never the Twain, and a regular on the legal drama Judge John Deed). Sinden's distinctive voice has become familiar in UK television commercials, radio dramas (including Sir Charles Baskerville in a Sherlock Holmes adaptation), and animation (the 1995 feature Balto). Sinden was knighted in 1997, and in 1999, lent his voice to The Gryphon in the Creature Shop TV movie Alice in Wonderland.
