Elton John and Miss Piggy, backed by the Electric Mayhem, sang the duet "Don't Go Breaking My Heart" as the closing number on episode 214 of The Muppet Show. John had recorded it in 1976 with Kiki Dee, and re-recorded it in 1993 with RuPaul.
Miss Piggy subsequently sang the song with Kermit on The Nick and Jessica Variety Hour.
Kermit and Piggy again sang the song on America's Got Talent.
