Added by RocketstevoDoin' the Snuffleupagus is a Sesame Street song sung by Mr. Snuffleupagus. The lyrics are similar to the song, "Hokey Pokey," and varied both in terms of what body part is "put out" and by suggesting alternatives to the line "and you leave it there." The verses include right foot, snuffle, and left foot. For non-Snuffleupaguses who have no snuffle, they can use their arm instead.
An instrumental version of the song often accompanies Snuffy when he enters a scene.
In episode 3401, Snuffy performed this song with Miles at Gordon and Susan's apartment while waiting for the lines of the Amazing Mumford's phone service to be open. In the 35th anniversary special, The Street We Live On, Snuffy performed the song again with Big Bird and some kids to teach the dance to Elmo through his email.
