The Dog City Police Department provides law and order on Dog City. Rosie O'Gravy is chief of detectives, and Prince is in charge of forensics. On the whole, the uniformed police dogs are less than reliable, easily distracted, and function as canine equivalents to Sherlock Holmes' Scotland Yard bunglers or, more specifically, the Keystone Cops.
