He has an obsession with Elvis Presley.

He also made a cameo appearance at Jim Henson's Creature Shop in The Secrets of the Muppets.

On Sid the Science Kid, Sid owns a stuffed dinosaur named Arnie that closely resembles Dog.

The puppet was later stolen, although if it has been found yet is unknown.
