"Disco D" was performed on Sesame Street in the late 1970s by a trio of polyester-clad, afro-wearing Anything Muppets. The lead singer, (a Fat Blue Muppet, voiced by Dwight R.B. Cook), praises the letter D for its dancing, and the words that start with D. Back up vocals were supplied by Grenoldo G. Frazier and Howard A. Roberts.
