Dinah Shore

Dinah! was a syndicated talk show hosted by Dinah Shore from 1975 to 1979.

Kermit the Frog, Fozzie Bear and Miss Piggy guest starred on the daytime talk show on April 13, 1977[1] to celebrate Kermit's 21st birthday.

In one segment, Kermit sang "What Kind of Frog Am I?".

Frank Oz and Jim Henson were also interviewed on camera with Kermit and Grover. Dinah asks Kermit what he would like for his birthday, and Kermit asks that he not get hit by Grover as a greeting. This leads to Grover demonstrating the routine, and asks Dinah how he could ever give up such a gesture of affection.

The other guests who appeared in that episode were Walter Cronkite, Edward Villel, Alfred Drake and Peggy Lee. Also appearing were Paul Williams and Ethel Merman, the latter of whom displayed her Kermit pendant necklace (which all Muppet Show guest stars received as a present from Jim), and sang "Together Wherever We Go" with Kermit and Fozzie. A backstage photo also includes Ruth Buzzi, Valerie Harper, Florence Henderson, and Jane Henson.
