Maximini-quartett

The German Maxi-Mini set

The card game Die Muppet Show Quartett was released by the West-German company ASS Altenburger in 1978 as a tie-in with the German The Muppet Show co-production Die Muppet Show.

Besides an international version reading The Muppet Show on the title card, two versions of the game were made; a normal size card set and a mini set released in the Maxi-Mini series. Beside the size of the cards, there were also different images used on the two sets.

The game requires at least 3 players. The goal of the game is to create a quartet of a specific character, each player takes turns in asking another player about a specific character card. The game ends when all quartets have been collected.

The characters on the Maxi-Mini cards are; Fozzie, Animal, Kermit, Rowlf, Miss Piggy and Gonzo. The characters on the normal card size are; Fozzie, Animal, Kermit, Rowlf, Miss Piggy, Statler and Waldorf, Link Hogthrob and Dr. Julius Strangepork.
