Dick DeBartolo (b. 1945) is an American writer best known for his work at Mad. Creative Consultant for the magazine from 1984-2009, he is nicknamed "Mad's Maddest Writer," and has been contributing to the periodical since 1961. DeBartolo wrote the E.T. spoof "E. C. the Extra-Celestial" for the premiere issue of Muppet Magazine.

Among his other credits are writing the bawdy and suggestive questions for Match Game, as well as serving as creative consultant on the game shows Tattletales and Super Password. He also contributes segments to ABC's World News Now on gadgets and gizmos.
