Des O'Connor (b. 1932) is an English television personality and singer. As host of Des O'Connor Entertains, a variety show, O'Connor featured the Muppets as guest in February 27, 1976 to promote The Muppet Show.

O'Connor won a Special Recognition Award at the National Television Awards in 2001 were Kermit made a quick appearance, thanking Des for introducing the British audience to the Muppets.
