Dentists

Dentists are part of the medical field of Dentistry, which also includes dental assistants, dental hygienists, dental technicians, and dental therapists. There have been a number of dentists appearing in Muppet related projects.

• Sesame Street featured a Green Anything Muppet Dentist who appeared on an episode of "Here is Your Life".

• Multiple Anything Muppets have appeared as Dentists in versions of "The People in Your Neighborhood", as well as the book based on the song.

• A Pumpkin colored dentist appeared in a Sesame Street sketch about teeth with Grover (who erroneously referred to him as a 'tooth checker') and Kermit.

• Placido Flamingo played a dentist in the opera "The Dentist of Seville".

• The Muppet Babies episode Dental Hijinks features Baby Fozzie confronting his fears of dentists.

• In Elmo's Christmas Countdown, Stiller the Elf says he wants to be a dentist.

• A little girl visits the dentist in a 2007 episode of Sesamstrasse.

• Frazzle is scared of going to the dentist, but comforted by his Mother in a Sesame Street sketch.

• Elmo takes The Big Bad Wolf to visit the dentist in the storybook Elmo Visits the Dentist.

• In a 2001 episode of Sesame Street, Shifty Sid visits the dentist and becomes Smiling Sid.

• In an Old West sketch, a cowboy who needs a dentist comes to see Adam T. Glaser, who is such a jack-of-all-trades that he forgets what a dentist does.

• Elmo's World: Teeth features a visit to the dentist.

• Reporter Wolle interviews a dentist for Sesamstrasse.

• Monty introduces an exciting movie, "The Adventures of the Pineapple Dentist" on an episode of Sesame Street.

• A 1992 episode of Sesame Street features the "Llama at Dentist Song".
