Dentists are part of the medical field of Dentistry, which also includes dental assistants, dental hygienists, dental technicians, and dental therapists. There have been a number of dentists appearing in Muppet related projects.

• Sesame Street featured a Green Anything Muppet Dentist who appeared on an episode of "Here is Your Life".

• Multiple Anything Muppets have appeared as Dentists in versions of "The People in Your Neighborhood", as well as the book based on the song. The 1983 version of the book featured Telly Monster as the dentist.

• A Pumpkin colored dentist appeared in a Sesame Street sketch about teeth with Grover (who erroneously referred to him as a 'tooth checker') and Kermit.
