"De Ballade van de Vlinder" (The Ballad of the Butterfly) was written and composed by Victor Alstef, Wim van den Hurk and Jorg Bryant. It's not clear if all three wrote this song together, but it was mentioned that way on the very first album on which the song appeared.

The song was performed by Erik J. Meijer who performed Pino at the time.
