David M. Clark has served as a lighting director for two Muppet-related productions. He was the lighting director for Christmas Eve on Sesame Street and Don't Eat the Pictures.

His post-Muppet career is more obscure and mostly unpublicized. He has gone on to serve as a lighting director in one other non-Muppet production The Country Girl. He was the lighting director for The Electric Company. He is also credited with being an executive producer for a low-budget, religious-oriented film short called He Took My Licking. Ironically, one review criticized the film's lighting.
