Dave Wilson (1932-2002) was a veteran television director who directed the 1975 pilot The Muppet Show: Sex and Violence. Wilson is best known for his long tenure on Saturday Night Live, including the first season "Land of Gorch" segments, from 1975 until 1986, and again from 1989 until his retirement in 1995.
