Dave Álvarez is a Puerto Rican comic book writer and illustrator, known for creating the comic "Yenny" and for providing art for the Looney Tunes comic book. He is also a storyboard artist for The Looney Tunes Show.

Álvarez provided interior artwork for BOOM Studios' Muppet King Arthur #1, and cover artwork for Muppet Robin Hood, Muppet King Arthur, and The Muppet Show Comic Book.

Alvarez also submitted a piece of artwork to the Mighty Fine Muppet T-Shirt contest which ended up winning.
