Danny Roane: First Time Director is a 2006 mockumentary about an actor (played by Andy Dick) directing his first film, which is based on the character's struggle with alcoholism and drug addiction.

In one scene, the director is being interviewed:

Danny Roane: I watched the, uh, Muppets Take Manhattan last night for inspiration. That movie, if you look closely, that movie is very hardcore with drug undertones.
