"Dancing on the Ceiling", a Rodgers and Hart standard, was popularized by Frank Sinatra and Ella Fitzgerald in the early '30s. It appeared in the 1934 movie Evergreen, which was based on a musical that played exclusively in London.
Beauregard performs "Dancing on the Ceiling" on episode 415 of The Muppet Show. While he sings from his bed, the ghost of a pink Whatnot girl literally dances on his ceiling.
