Daffy Duck and an ersatz Kermit

Daffy Duck is a cartoon character who was one of the main stars in the Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies for Warner Bros. Daffy was voiced by Mel Blanc from his first appearance in 1937 until 1989.

Daffy (along with fellow Warner Bros. star Bugs Bunny) appeared with Baby Kermit, Baby Piggy, and Baby Gonzo in the 1990 animated television special Cartoon All-Stars to the Rescue.

Years later, in Looney Tunes #47, the December 1998 issue of the DC Comics publication based on the cartoons, Daffy starred in "Puppet Regime." The story involved Daffy's schemes against the stars of an upcoming children's movie, broad parodies of Barney the Dinosaur, Bananas in Pajamas, and the Sesame Street cast (here identified as "Schmuppets.")
