"Daddy Dear" is an animated song featured on Sesame Street. A girl asks her Daddy all sorts of questions, all of which include at least one word beginning with D, such as "Do dragons dance?" and "How deep is a doughnut hole?"

The father answers all the questions, with the exception of the one about the doughnut hole, and sends her to bed. The animation visualizes the various D images.
