DION is a Japanese internet service provider (ISP).
They have used Elmo, Grover, and Big Bird from Sesame Street in their advertising. The commercials were directed by David Gumpel.
“In November 2003, KDDI launched "Sesame BB", a broadband content program for all family members. On February 20, 2004, KDDI launched a "DION ADSL 1 Million Sesame Campaign", promoting "Sesame BB" to an even wider range of potential users.[1]”
A board puzzle set was created to market their promotion.
