Courtney Pine (b. 1964) is a British jazz musician, an accomplished saxophonist who also plays the clarinet and flute, amongst others. He guest starred in The Ghost of Faffner Hall episode "If You Can Play, It's an Instrument" as a door-to-door saxophone salesman.

Pine's debut album was Journey To The Urge Within. His other television credits include a guest appearance in the 1988 Doctor Who serial "Silver Nemesis," as himself, performing at a concert attended by the Doctor. Pine also scored the 1999 film History Is Made at Night. For his accomplishments as a musician, he was awarded the Order of the British Empire in 2000.
