Monsters Look at "A" Episode 0083 Monsters, including an early Grover, Flute-Snatcher, Cookie Monster, Beautiful Day Monster, and Scudge, are looking at something. Baby Monster appears, and is reprimanded with "Eyy!" After a few times, Baby Monster turns toward the viewer and yells "A!", revealing that the group is staring at the letter A.
Monsters Whisper "C" Episode 0089 Monsters, including an early Grover, Cookie Monster, and Beautiful Day Monster, pass on the message, "See." The wide shot reveals that the monsters were whispering about the Letter C. Caroll Spinney performs Cookie Monster here.
Here and There Episode 0111 Baby Monster wants to learn about here and there, so the Beautiful Day Monster and Cookie Monster show him by spreading apart, each calling Baby Monster over to their side. However, whenever Baby gets to "there," he always finds himself "here."
What's My Part?: Nose Episode 0131 Cookie Monster is a contestant on Guy Smiley's game show "What's My Part?", along with nose-less monsters Bennett Snerf and Arlene Frantic. They are blindfolded and have to guess who todays guest, a nose, is. However, since none of them actually have noses, they have trouble guessing.
Turning into a Prince Episode 0179 A fairy godmother turns Cookie Monster into a handsome prince. He thinks it's ugly, and uses the wand to change her into her original form, Herry Monster wearing a wig. As monsters, they fall in love.

Cookie Coat Episode 0205 Cookie Monster gets mistaken for a blue and furry coat.
Sandwich Episode 0241 Cookie Monster asks a girl the instructions of creating an egg sandwich; which is by combining - slices of bread, butter, a hard boiled egg, and salt together. Cookie literally follows the instructions by placing the ingredients in his mouth, much to the chagrin of the girl.

The Great Cookie Thief Episode 0276 Four Anything Muppet cowboys put up a Wanted poster for "the Great Cookie Thief", who's been stealing cookies from all the bakeries in these here parts. Cookie Monster is standing in front of the poster, and the others suspect that he's the Great Cookie Thief -- he has the same googly eyes, the same blue fur, and the same Western hat. They confront Cookie Monster, but he denies the charge: "Not have same mustache!" He shouts, "Look over there!" -- and while they're distracted, he draws a mustache on the poster. They apologize -- but when Cookie Monster takes off his hat, cookies fall out. The Great Cookie Thief makes his escape.

R! S! M! Episode 0302 Two monsters stand on either side of a large plate of cookies. Herry Monster has an "R" on his sweatshirt and growls menacingly, "Rrrrrrrr". A fat blue monster has an "S" on his sweatshirt and hisses ominously, "Sssssssss". While they argue in this way, Cookie Monster (wearing an "M" on his sweatshirt) comes along, eats the cookies, rubs his tummy and says, "Mmmmmmmmmm".
Sound box Episode 0307 Grover has a box that can make the sound "ding-ding." However, Grover can't make it to sound right so he attempts to fix it. When it's fixed and says "ding-ding" Cookie Monster comes because he taught he heard the dinner bell ring.
The Remembering Game Episode 0310 Cookie Monster and Bill Smith are contestants on The Remembering Game, hosted by Guy Smiley. Cookie wins and his prize is a jet plane. But he'd rather have Bill's consolation prize, a cookie. Which is just as well because Bill would rather have the plane. So they trade.

Full and Empty Cookie Jar Episode 0322 The Amazing Mumford waves his magic wand over a transparent glass cookie jar and makes the jar become full of cookies and then empty (over and over) as an anxious Cookie Monster watches.

Cookie Monster at the bakery: Birthday Cookie Episode 0428 Cookie Monster goes to the bakery for a special birthday cookie. The baker lists all the ingredients of the cookie, as Cookie visualizes it. The visualized image looks so delicious that he eats it.

Cookie Monster Goes to School Episode 0514 Cookie Monster wants to go to school, but he can't tell which building the school is because he can't read. An Anything Muppet tells him to read the letters on the sign on one of the buildings. Cookie tears the sign off the building, but once he's read the sign, he still doesn't know which building the school is.

Cookie Monster meets the Count Episode 0514 The Count and Cookie Monster see a plate of cookies. The Count wants to count them, and Cookie Monster wants to eat them. After arguing over whether the cookies are for counting or eating, they decide to share them -- the Count will count the cookies, and then Cookie Monster will eat them.
Beat the Time Episode 0536 In order to win a cookie, Cookie Monster must bring three items that rhyme with the word "rain." They turn out to be an old man's "cane", a "chain" (to which Frazzle is attached), and finally a "train" which destroys the set.

Cookie Puzzle Episode 0703 Herbert Birdsfoot invents a complicated machine, to test Cookie Monster's problem-solving abilities. Cookie Monster needs to pull the string to raise the glass cover off the plateful of cookies at the other end -- but when he lets go to retrieve the cookies, the cover will fall again. Herbert hears Cookie Monster approaching, and hides to observe him. Cookie investigates the machine for a moment, then gets the cookies by karate-chopping the glass cover.
Cookie Monster rings the bell Episode 0707 Cookie Monster goes to the carnival and plays the "test your strength" game. Unbeknownst to him, the carnival barker is a dishonest man who rigged the game so nobody could win -- until Cookie finds out what the prize is.
The Smallest Person gets the Cookie Episode 0722 Two kids argue over a cookie. Cookie Monster arrives and says that the smallest person should get the cookie, and then, as the kids argue over which one is smaller, Cookie Monster shrinks himself.

Cookie Monster and the Word Food Episode 0723 Cookie Monster sees styrofoam letters that spell the word FOOD. After he sounds them out, he dons a bib, sprinkles salt and pepper on the letters, and eats them ... and then eats the bib.

Shares a cookie Episode 0730 Cookie Monster is about to eat a cookie, as a sad-looking girl approaches and stares at him. He tries to eat the cookie, but can't do it. He breaks the cookie in half and shares the cookie with the girl. He eats his half of the cookie. When the girl eats her half, she eats it just like Cookie Monster.

The Monster's Three Wishes Episode 0764 Bob tells the story of "The Monster's Three Wishes." One day, Cookie Monster is brushing his teeth, and discovers the Genie of the Toothpaste, who grants Cookie Monster three wishes. Of course, Cookie Monster wants a million cookies, but first, he needs a truck to carry them all in. The Genie gives Cookie Monster a tiny little toy truck, which is nowhere near big enough to carry all the cookies. Cookie Monster says that he wants a bigger truck, so he's given a slightly larger toy truck. Cookie Monster explains that he wants the biggest truck of all, and the Genie finally gives him a full-size truck. Cookie is delighted, and wishes for his million cookies -- but the Genie explains that he's used up all three of his wishes. Undaunted, Cookie Monster eats the truck.

At the bakery: Something that rhymes with "buy" Episode 0817 Cookie Monster comes to the bakery looking for something delicious that rhymes with BUY. He tries the I (from the MIKE'S BAKERY sign) and the baker's TIE, both of which aren't that delicious. Finally, Guy Smiley comes in and loudly announces that he would like to BUY a PIE. Cookie then knows what he can get in the bakery that rhymes with BUY and is delicious: it's GUY! A chase ensues, and Cookie requests for the baker to send him the bill.
AMOR Episode 0892 Cookie Monster introduces the word "AMOR".
Asking for a Box of Cookies Episode 0897 At a library, Cookie Monster asks an Anything Muppet librarian for a box of cookies. The librarian becomes extremely frustrated because Cookie Monster doesn't understand the library doesn't have cookies!

Cookie Monster's Picnic Episode 2159 Cookie Monster goes on a picnic, with a basket full of cookies. A bug flies by, and tries to get into the basket, buzzing furiously. Cookie Monster tries to give the bug a little cookie if it'll go away. The bug refuses, buzzing even more strenuously. Cookie tries a big cookie, but it still refuses. Cookie offers an almond cookie, a raisin cookie, a pistachio nut cookie, and a crunchy granola cookie. He realizes that the little bug doesn't like cookies. All he has left is a letter Z. The bug is excited, and buzzes off with the Z.


Sesame Street News Flash: Little Red Cookie Hood Episode 2487 Cookie Monster portrays Little Red Riding Hood. He brings cookies for his sick grandmother, but Kermit tells him that sick people should have healthy foods.
Sesame Street News Flash: Monsters at School- The First Day of School Episode 2682 Kermit reassures kindergarten student Cookie Monster that there's no need to be afraid on the first day of school. As he's about to leave, the teacher mistakes him for a student and tells him to sit down.
Lunch Talk Episode 2926 Cookie Monster appears on Lunch Talk hosted by Murphy Brownbag to demonstrate the elements of a healthy monster's lunch.
Mountains or Seashore? Episode 3480 The Two-Headed Monster is in a disagreement about where to go for vacation: the mountains or the seashore. Cookie Monster says he likes both, better than going to Cucamonga for the National Cookie Convention. 2-Head gets inspired, and heads off for Cucamonga, leaving Cookie to choose between the mountains and the seashore.

Fast and Slow Telly Monster demonstrates "Fast" and "Slow" to Cookie Monster by using a plate of cookies. To demonstrate slow, Telly eats one of the cookies in slow bites. After finishing eating, he asked Cookie Monster to eat a cookie slowly. Cookie Monster gives it a try, but ends up gobbling all the cookies on the plate. Telly considers it to be fast rather than slow, but Cookie Monster says it was slow in his opinion.

Shell Game Cookie Monster plays a shell game at a carnival, and the prize is a cookie. A cookie is placed under one of three shells, and the carnival barker rearranges them, and has Cookie Monster guess which one it's under. After failing to guess correctly, the carnival barker lets Cookie Monster try it again, this time using only two shells, and Cookie Monster fails to win again. Since Cookie Monster can't have the cookie, he eats the shells.

Mystery Guest Cookie Monster is a contestant on "Mystery Guest", hosted by Guy Smiley. He and fellow panelists Don Music and Sherlock Hemlock are blindfolded and have to guess the guest's identity. It's the letter X. Cookie Monster incorrectly guesses O.
