Colin Purves is a puppeteer who was one of the three people in London to be selected from the Jim Henson Company Muppeteer Workshop in 1994. He puppeteered background characters on Muppet Treasure Island and also worked in the Creature Shop Productions Commercial, Flymo.

On TV, Purves puppeteered on Spitting Image - New Year’s Eve Special, Our House, and Captain Abercromby.
