The Close Encounters Alien appeared in Woody Allen's version of Close Encounters of the Third Kind in From the Balcony episode 31. When it invades Earth, Woody is aghast, commenting that it looks more like a TV dinner.

The puppet was reused from B.R.A.T.S. of the Lost Nebula.
