Chuck Fawcett designed the new version of Pino around 1988 or 89 as a freelance puppet maker for Kermit Love. He started a company called Animax Designs in 1989 and continued to build the puppets for Sesame Street Holland (Pino, Ienie Mienie, and Tommie) for the period of time between 1987 and 1994. Chuck designed his second Pino around 1992 and was used officially in 1999. It is the version that we still know today.
