Chris Jackson is a Broadway performer and composer. His best known roles are for The Lion King (as Simba understudy) and In the Heights (with Lin-Manuel Miranda). He has also composed music for the revival of The Electric Company.

Starting in season 41, he began composing for Sesame Street. He also voiced the Justin Bieber Muppet in the song "Measure, Yeah, Measure." He also sang the original song "Puppet Man" (written by Mark Radice) for the documentary Being Elmo: A Puppeteer's Journey.
