4142-ChrisBrown

Chris Brown (b. 1989) is a Grammy Award nominated singer, whose top 100 hits include "Run It!", "Say, Goodbye", and "Yo (Excuse Me Miss)".

Brown appeared as himself during Season 38 of Sesame Street in episode 4135 where he and Elmo sing "See the Signs," and in episode 4142 where he demonstrates the word "disappear."

He also appeared in the celebrity filled song "Get Up, Get Out!".

Both "Get Up, Get Out!" and "See the Signs" were nominated for a 2008 Daytime Emmy Award.

Brown turned himself in to police on February 8, 2009, following an altercation with his girlfriend, pop singer Rihanna. Brown was booked on suspicion of making criminal threats to Rihanna, and was under investigation for a domestic violence charge. In response, Sesame Workshop announced that "a 2007 [Sesame Street] episode guest-starring Brown is being pulled from future airings." [1]
