Governor Andrew Cuomo declared May 9th, 2011 as Children's Mental Health Awareness Day in New York State. On that day, the New York State Office of Mental Health and a non-profit group, Families Together in NYS, honored five social programs during their "What's Great in Our State: A Forum to Celebrate Children's Mental Health" event. Among the non-profits and agencies was Sesame Workshop, for their Talk, Listen, Connect educational outreach initiative.

The awards will be presented on May 9, 2011 at the Carole F. Huxley Theater, New York State Museum in Albany. A Honker is scheduled to attend.
