DEBUT | 1978 |
The late Chester Pugh appeared in The Muppet Show episode 312. During the medium sketch with James Coco and Fozzie, the ghost of Chester Pugh makes an unscheduled appearance, materializing in the Muppet Theater, instead of his planned visitation at a seance held by the Senior Citizens of Abilene.
When informed that he's on stage, Chester decides to say hello to his parents and the night shift at Snyder's. He then launches into a rendition of "Danny Boy," eventually joined by James and Fozzie.
