Cheryl E. Hardwick (b. 1944)[1] worked as a composer for Sesame Street and performed the voice of one of the Oinker Sisters and one of How Now Brown's Moo Wave cows. She was part of the team of Sesame Street musical personnel that won the Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Achievement in Music Direction and Composition in 1990.
She has a master's degree in piano performance from The Juilliard School, a skill that earned her the distinction of being the first female member of the original Saturday Night Live band. She demonstrated it on several 1970s Sesame record albums, as a keyboardist on Let Your Feelings Show!, Signs! and Aren't You Glad You're You. She later became the musical director on Saturday Night Live from 1986 until 2000, and was married to head writer Michael O'Donoghue until his death in 1994.
