Cher was a television variety series hosted by Cher in the wake of the popular Sonny and Cher Comedy Hour.

The Muppets appeared in the September 7, 1975 season premiere, featuring the Smothers Brothers and Bill Cosby. Highlights included Cher singing "Satisfaction," backed by Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem, and The Beatles' song "Something," accompanied by Sweetums. They appeared again on November 16, 1975.^[1] Guest star Ray Charles sang "Bein' Green" with Kermit, and Sweetums and Cher performed "That Old Black Magic."
