Charlie was a boy from the kingdom of Frel, who applied for a job at the palace. Due to Princess Gwendolynda thinking he was cute, King Fred gave him a job as the third assistant to the deputy janitor, with 16-hour-a-day shifts and getting paid 6 cents a year.

Charlie wore a feather in his hat, and called his feather Edward. Charlie appeared in The Muppets on Puppets.
