Charles Grodin (1935โ2021) was an American actor, comedian, author, and television talk show host.
Grodin first gained film notice with smaller supporting roles in Rosemary's Baby (with Mia Farrow) and Catch-22 (with Alan Arkin) and a larger role in Heaven Can Wait (with Dyan Cannon). By the 1980s and 90s, he had co-lead or principal supporting roles in Midnight Run (with Robert De Niro), Seems Like Old Times (with Chevy Chase and Goldie Hawn), Ishtar (with Dustin Hoffman), Dave (with Kevin Kline), Clifford (with Martin Short), and Beethoven and its sequel (with Bonnie Hunt).
Apart from acting, Grodin hosted the talk show The Charles Grodin Show (1995-1998) on CNBC and was a regular end-of-hour commentator on 60 Minutes II (2000-2005).

1981: Played lead villain Nicky Holiday in The Great Muppet Caper.
1990: Guest star in The Muppets at Walt Disney World as another bumbling villain, Quentin Fitzwaller, the Walt Disney World security guard.
1994: Appeared as wealthy apartment seeker Chas (opposite Susan Sarandon as Bitsy) in Stars and Street Forever.
c.1996: Miss Piggy appeared on Grodin's MSNBC talk show.[1]
