Charles Blitzen is a reindeer news anchor featured in Elmo's Christmas Countdown. Blitzen reports for CDN (Counter Downer Network), and appears periodically to berate Stiller the Elf for his incompetence. The character is a parody of ABC news anchor Charles Gibson, who provides the voice.

The puppet was redressed and recycled from Lightning, the reindeer featured in Elmo Saves Christmas.
