Celia Cruz (1925-2003) was an acclaimed Cuban salsa singer. She guest starred on Sesame Street at various times, supplying a Latin flavor and bilingual instruction. Her appearances include "Numero Comparsa," a duet with Big Bird, and a cameo in the celebrity version of "Put Down the Duckie."
