Celebrity Song Montages

Over the years, Sesame Street has had songs featuring a montage of appearances by celebrities who appeared on the show during the years these songs were made. The shows producers would tape a verse or dance move from these celebrities whenever they appeared, editing them into one big song afterwards. ^[1] Sometimes, the song segments were in existience for at least a year before being re-edited as a celebrity montage, while others were made especially for the scenes (even if the songs themselves had been around for awhile).
