I don't think we should have timeline pages that precede 1954. I know we have performer births and song debuts before that, but so what? I think the Muppet Wiki timeline should be Muppet relevant only, and the Muppets date back to their first public appearance outside of Jim Henson's head in 1954. Also... 1928? I mean, c'mon. — Scott (talk) 03:08, 24 September 2006 (UTC)
- I don't know if I agree entirely. I do see your main point, as being a bit excessive, but I'd push it at least back to 1936. I'd say Jim Henson's year of birth is pretty darn Muppet relevant, even if they wouldn't debut until 54. -- Andrew Leal (talk) 03:10, 24 September 2006 (UTC)
- Or maybe there can be a pre-1954 timeline page for relative events like the birth of important puppeteers, writers, directors, and producers. By "important", I mean people who worked for The Muppets for a long amount of time and have contributed to a lot of Henson productions. People like Frank Oz, Jerry Juhl, Don Shalin, Jon Stone, and Joe Raposo, among others. --Minor muppetz 03:56, 24 September 2006 (UTC)
