Sesamstrasse Episode Dates

I was just looking at some Sesamstrasse episode pages, and realized that we don't list anything for airdates on most of these. I know we might not have the original date, but we probably know the year, right? I clicked around and I can't find anything like the Sesame Street seasons page, where we say which episodes were part of which year. Is that info available somewhere? -- Danny @fandom (talk) 18:55, August 8, 2011 (UTC)

Most of the early ones came from the Sesamstrasse fanclub site and they didn't list dates. Others came from the KI.KA site and didn't provide dates either. - Oscarfan 18:59, August 8, 2011 (UTC)
I do have some dates in my little archive, taken from the original episode description on the NDR website. I'm planning to go through them as I get to them. Most of them can be guessed by remembering that they aired on Sundays, at least the newest generation not sure with the older ones. However there are some Sundays around christmas where they could have skipped airing a episode. I have thought about starting a season overview like the Sesame Street seasons, but just have not gotten around to it yet. Henrik (talk) 22:16, August 8, 2011 (UTC)
I've been looking into a season overview the last few week, but the more I looked into it the more confused I got. But I can conclude that our season numbering are off. Personally I always thought that they show description blocks on NDR website fitted with the seasons, but I can see now that I have been wrong about that since those blocks now contain 24 episodes each and not the 50+ they did a couple of years ago.
Also the last time NDR published on their website that they had a new batch of episodes was in November 2008. They announced that a new batch would start on November 16 and according to sesamstrassen fanclub site it contains 59 episodes). So that means that the 2008 season would start with episode 2457 and end with 2515 (December 27, 2009). But the show description blocks started with episode 2457 ended with 2499. So we have the following season starting with episode 2500 and not 2515. It also kinda makes sense since that the season ends with 2515, since Wolle controllroom sketches started from episode 2516.
Then the next season are a problem since I can't find any announcement of it's start. But if we use the Wolle controlroom sketch as a measure the season are from January 3, 2010 (episode 2516) to March 27 2011 (episode 2580) since there's new Wolle sketches from episode 2581.
All of this leads to the season numbering if a new season started November 16 2008, that would in theory be season 35 (2008-1973=35). The following season starts January 2010 so that would be season 36, but if we look at the math it would be season 37 (2010-1973=37). Henrik (talk) 14:08, August 24, 2011 (UTC)

Another one to add --MuppetVJ 18:01, October 19, 2009 (UTC)

I downloaded and extracted those and couldn't get either of them to work. -- MuppetDude 19:09, October 19, 2009 (UTC)
It's a split archive. Just open Part 1 and the ZIP file will present (or unrar) itself.--MuppetVJ 19:18, October 19, 2009 (UTC)
Or try this.--MuppetVJ 20:00, October 19, 2009 (UTC)

Fanclub info

Does anyone think it would be wrong to take info about the episodes from here? - Oscarfan 22:09, 18 May 2009 (UTC)

I do belive thats been up before, and that the owner of that site do not want us to use his images on here. Henrik (talk) 05:24, 19 May 2009 (UTC)
I know it's been up. Bu, I not thinking image-wise, just for information about the episodes and segments in them. - Oscarfan 10:54, 19 May 2009 (UTC)
Yeah, I think that's a good idea. We shouldn't copy the info word for word, but if we paraphrase, then that's fine. -- Danny@fandom (talk) 14:52, 19 May 2009 (UTC)
It is possible to do that, but be carefull to trust any automatic translations. I've mange to backtrack quite a few official episode descriptions, I'm at work now so I can't check them but I believe that I have desriptions that goes back to 2004 or 2005. Henrik (talk) 16:09, 19 May 2009 (UTC)
