Linking images?

I moved the gallery from the Chronological List page over to here... Now that this is essentially a portal page, is it okay to link the images to the individual pages? -- Danny@Wikia (talk) 16:50, 5 August 2008 (UTC)

Hmm. It would be useful, and in most cases, the images are 300px or smaller to begin with, so the previously mentioned issue with image linking wouldn't matter. But then there's 24 Days 'Til Christmas: A December Counting Calendar, where the image is 600px and interesting and detailed, and as I mentioned earlier, it becomes recursive. So here's a suggestion. Go ahead and link those which are 300px or smaller, but for the Christmas calendar and any similar entries, create a smaller image specifically for use as a link on the page. It's a little extra work, but it retains the functionality without causing frustration for casual users (who have to figure out how to get around the redirect). How's that sound? -- Andrew Leal (talk) 20:44, 5 August 2008 (UTC)
