I just checked out a copy of a Muppet Babies Video Storybook from my local library. I want to start a page for it, but the video box doesn't have any volume number listed. I have a copy of Muppet Babies Video Storybook Volume II, which does list a volume number on the box and on the tape itself. My copy is the original release. I know that it was late rrereleased with a different box. But the video that I checked out has a different style packaging from the original release of volume 2. The original video box for volume 2 lists two other volumes, with numbers and titles of books featured. But the one I checked out shows pictures from a few others (since it's from the library, there are a few things in the way, and I think an entire video is blocked), which only list the titles of books included, but no volume numbers.
Anyway, the one I rented has the stories Baby Piggy and the Thunderstorm, Baby Fozzie on Cloud Nine, and Even Kermit Gets Grouchy, and the linking footage involves Kermit readings stories to Robin during a thunderstorm. If anybody knows how to help, it would be appreciated. --Minor muppetz 14:16, 1 May 2007 (UTC)
- Does the cover art match the style seen in this image or this one? If it's the first one, the volume number should be listed on the label on the cassette itself. If it's the second one, it's printed on the cover. —Scott (talk) 14:23, 1 May 2007 (UTC)
- Neither, actually. This one features a small image of Kermit and Robin looking at a book, under a big picture of Baby Kermit and Piggy. I looked at the cassette label and there is no volume number, and as I said, I checked this out from the library, which has a few labels over parts of the cover, but not enough that would cause a volume number to be blocked. --Minor muppetz 14:41, 1 May 2007 (UTC)
- No, I can't scan the cover, and there is a sticker at the bottom of the side of the slipcase cover. --Minor muppetz 18:23, 1 May 2007 (UTC)
- The back cover of the video I rented mentioned other videos in this series, but didn't mention the firs tthree. However, there is another one listed, which is listed to include Gonzo and the Great Race, Baby Fozzie is Afraid of the Dark, and Baby Piggy's Mermaid Tale. That one's not listed on the Muppet Babies Video Storybooks page. The other volumes listed (on the back cover) just list their contents, but not volumes. --Minor muppetz 20:06, 1 May 2007 (UTC)
