I've created this category to stick in locations that, at least right now, don't fit anywhere else. However, while I'll be adding to it over the next few days (and hope to add some images when I get back to Syracuse), I'd like to go ahead and ask for thoughts on its usefulness. On the one hand, some items could be relocated, say Gogalala to a general Specials Locations category or Doorknob World to Muppet Babies Locations (but as of now, it and The Nursery would be the only occupants), leaving general Muppet locations, which weren't from The Muppet Show but featured characters from it. So that goes back to the universe theory discussions, whether we need to find a way to merge the "Main Muppet Universe" locations.
On the other hand, if they just stay here, at least until enough of a single type warrant a seperate category, this could be a useful place should anyone suddenly be possessed of a desire to create a page for Yves St. La Roache's kitchen from The Animal Show, the Big Bag store, or any other locations from shows which are basically one or two set productions. At some point, I'd like to create a page for the hotel in The Witches (particularly having located the real-life hotel which played the role), but don't really feel like trying to find other items to fill up a "Witches Locations" category. And it would give me an excuse if I ever want to create a page for Vi's Diner from The Electric Company (especially considering, apart from Grover's visit to it, the fact that it's on the bus route to Sesame Street). So, while typing all this out, I think I just managed to convince myself that this category, much as we've been avoiding "Miscellaneous" labels outside of merchandise, could work. Still, any and all thoughts are welcome. -- Andrew Leal (talk) 05:32, 9 August 2006 (UTC)
