::The only problem with Arnie is there's nowhere else to put him, but I guess we could create a Cube Characters category. At the time, he was the only Cube character I liked enough to make a page for, and I still haven't worked up enthusiasm for the others. Creature Production Humans

The category description says "Non-puppet characters played by human actors in Muppet films, television shows, and specials", however there are some humans in here from non-Muppet productions (such as The Storyteller, Sir David Tushingham, The Man, Toby and others). Either this category should be expanded to include human characters from all productions (Muppet, creature shop, or whatever) or the random handful of ones from non-Muppet productions (like Dinosaurs, The StoryTeller, Labyrinth, Time Piece, and such) should be taken out of here. -- Brad D. I think I'd be in favor of taking the others out. I think the reason for the phrasing was the fact that Creature Shop stuff is a blurred line, since many characters played by live actors aren't Creatures, but aren't supposed to be human either (Jareth, Zhaan). I think Sir David Tushingham fits a bit better, since it's more of a rarity for human characters to appear on Dinosaurs, always sort of a special occasion, but we can either adjust the text to include the series, or take him out. I'm not partial on this issue. -- Andrew Leal (talk) 15:33, 11 April 2007 (UTC)
I think those should go in Creature Shop Characters. My impression of this category is that it's for the humans who "intrude" into the Muppet world, like Dorcas or Luc Fromage. Creature Shop movies like Cats and Dogs have tons of human characters, and that feels like a different thing. -- Danny (talk) 15:34, 11 April 2007 (UTC)
Well, we'd already decided we wouldn't have Cats & Dogs humans anyway, since it's not Henson produced. I agree, but I think the intrusion argument works just as well with Dinosaurs. It's not a big thing, though, so I'm fine with taking Tushingham and friends out if need be, since I definitely don't think trying to add every human character from Creature Shop productions we do have is a good thing at all. -- Andrew Leal (talk) 15:41, 11 April 2007 (UTC)
Okay, make that The Witches. :) I agree that I wouldn't mind having the Dinosaurs folks in here, but I secretly think that Dinosaurs is a Muppet production anyway. -- Danny (talk) 15:52, 11 April 2007 (UTC)

I took out the small handful of Creature Shop characters (it was mainly just a random sample of only some of the human characters already found in the StoryTeller and Labyrinth characters). If we decide to include all Human characters we can go though the entire Creature Shop characters category and add them all here – but I think that would dilute this category and isn't necessary or really desired. However some questionable ones, given the category description, that I left in here are:

I'm okay with keeping Dinosuars in here, even though we voted they were creatures (but then we should add some kind of note is to the category description about them being in here so other Creature Shop humans don't appear) – or possibly just creating a "List of Humans on Dinosaurs" within the Dinosaurs Characters category could serve our need to highlight them and we could remove them from here. But the two early Henson films that feature no Muppets in them seem odd to keep in here (especially being there is a category for Time Piece characters). -- Brad D. (talk) 18:02, 11 April 2007 (UTC)

We could say "Non-puppet characters played by human actors in Muppet and Dinosaurs productions." I think we should take the Time Piece and Cube people out. -- Danny (talk) 18:51, 11 April 2007 (UTC)
The only problem with Arnie is there's nowhere else to put him, but I guess we could create a Cube Characters category. At the time, he was the only Cube character I liked enough to make a page for, and I still haven't worked up enthusiasm for the others. I'd really like to keep the 7 Dinosaurs folks here, with the text change as Danny noted. I don't want to create a seperate list, since Character Lists is where random things go to die. -- Andrew Leal (talk) 21:23, 11 April 2007 (UTC)
